Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they constitute a legal contract between you and RLB Group Limited, trading as the ‘The Garden House’, which becomes binding, upon completion of your room reservation with us.
You have the right to reject these terms and conditions and cancel your booking within 14 days.
Our standard check-in times are between 12:00 - 17.00 hours. If you wish to arrive before 12.00, we will do our best to arrange for your room to be ready or alternatively hold your luggage for you. If you are likely to arrive after 17.00 hours, you will be able to use our key-safe facility. Please ask us for details. Our latest check-out time is 10.00am.
Rooms may be reserved online with a valid credit or debit card.
We take full payment as confirmation of your reservation. This can be made through our secure system with Stripe; there will be a pay button on your confirmation. Alternatively, you can pay over the phone or by BACS (please ask for details). We regret we are unable to accept cheques.
Cancellations must be made by email (email@example.com) A booking cancelled less than 7 days before arrival is considered forfeit. If the booking is cancelled 7 or more days before arrival, then a refund equal to 50.00% of the stay will be made. In the event of a no show, or a booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is retained.
In the event of bad weather conditions, flooding, plague, disease or any act of God, The Garden House will fully apply our cancellation policy.
Room rates shown on our website are per room, per night and include breakfast, parking and taxes. Room rates are subject to change. Prices are quoted inclusive of any VAT payable at the current rate.
We are required by law to maintain a register of our guests. Residents of the United Kingdom shall on check-in provide their full names and addresses. All other guests must on check-in provide details of a valid passport. You agree that we may retain this information for 12 months. A form will be sent to you through are booking system 48 hours before arrival.
By making a reservation at The Garden House, guests agree not to exceed the maximum occupancy for the room allocated to you. If the number of occupants for any room type exceeds Standard Occupancies, additional extra persons cost will apply to the reservation.Definition of occupancies are as follows:
Standard Double / Twin room: 2 Adults + optionally, 1 child under 16 years.
Family room: 2 Adults(18 years and over) + 2 children(under the age of 16 years). Optional 3rd Child.
Children aged 16 or 17 years will be permitted to stay in separate room(s) under the responsibility of the parent or guardian and the parent or guardian must also remain in The Garden House at all times the children are within the accommodation.
Occupancy is not transferable.
Regrettably no pets are allowed in any room or area of The Garden House. If a pet is brought to The Garden House we will charge a fee of £100 for professional cleaning.
We provide complimentary on-site parking to guests, strictly subject to availability. We cannot guarantee a parking space. Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the car owner's risk. The Garden House accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused.
The Garden House shall not be liable for any damage to client’s personal property, howsoever caused. The Garden House is not liable for any loss of client’s property whilst on the premises.
The guest shall be responsible for any damage caused to The Garden House grounds or buildings, furnishing or furniture and equipment in it by the wilful acts or default of the guest or any other person on The Garden House’s premises by reason of the function and shall pay The Garden House, on demand, the amount required to make good, remedy or replace any such damage.
Should it be deemed necessary to refund other guests or compensate neighbours for wilful acts, or anti-social behaviour, resulting in damage, or complaints, we reserve the right pass on those costs in full.
The Garden House is a strictly non-smoking establishment. No smoking of any kind including tobacco, vaping or marijuana in any form is permitted anywhere. Should you smoke in your room, our fire system will probably trigger and we will charge a minimum of £150.00 to your card for a deep clean of your room. If the fire brigade is dispatched, you are fully liable for any charges incurred.
The Garden House reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate without notice an individual’s stay at The Garden House, where deemed necessary.
